For training and examination scenarios in the medical field at the University of Münster, inSynergie developed a PA and video recording system, with access rights managed via RFID-chipped ID cards. The RFID ID cards for students and lecturers allow for easy and convenient system handling. The audio-video recording and debriefing system was installed in 24 study rooms and four training rooms.
Trainees or examinees can start a video recording after entering the study room simply by inserting their ID card. Using cameras and microphones, examiners can access all occupied study rooms from a central location, communicate with the examinees via the PA system (intercom), and add real-time evaluations to the video.
Later, students can view and review their recordings (via RFID authentication) along with the evaluations at playback stations.
