Your responsibilities with us :

• Project planning, coordination, and control of demanding media technology projects
• Ensuring and monitoring resource, schedule, and cost planning, and initiating measures in case of deviations
• Preparation of cost estimates and proposals, change order management
• Technical construction management
• Project documentation
• Coordination of production, both in our in-house workshops and with external partners
• You will oversee the technical implementation on site and ensure that all integration standards are met.
• You will document the system and continue to support our customers even after the project has been completed – to ensure a smooth after-sales process.

What you bring:

• A completed degree in media technology or a technical apprenticeship with at least 3 years of professional experience related to the tasks mentioned above (e.g., IT systems electronics technician, master electrician, electrical engineer, master of event technology, electronics technician for information and telecommunication technology, IT specialist – system integration)
• Ein gutes Verständnis für audiovisuelle Signalwege und Standardprotokolle wie DANTE, DMX oder PJ-Link.
• Independent and structured way of working
• High commitment and flexibility
• Strong team orientation and confident demeanor when dealing with clients and project stakeholders
• Good German and English language skills
• Class B driver's license
• Product knowledge in video, audio, and media control systems is desirable

This apprenticeship combines the fields of computer science, mechanics, and electrical engineering.

Start date: August

What you can expect:

• Design of components, devices, and systems
• Hardware and software selection and procurement
• Manufacturing of components and devices in our workshops
• Setting up the power supply
• Installation, programming, and commissioning of hardware and software
• Maintenance and upkeep of media technology devices and systems – on-site and in our workshops in Rheinbreitbach near Bonn
• Applications of information and communication technology devices
• Troubleshooting malfunctions in our customers' media technology, systems, and networks
• Standard apprenticeship duration: 3 years

What you bring:

• A lower secondary school leaving certificate
• technical understanding and manual dexterity
• initial knowledge in the areas of: PC, software, and network technology
• Interest in audio and video technology
• Organizational talent, teamwork skills, and a sense of responsibility
• Good grades in mathematics and physics are desirable
