Switzerland's most visited cultural history museum presents history from its beginnings to the present day. The museum's new building opened in mid-2016, featuring two new, technologically advanced exhibition spaces.
InSynergie installed the media technology for the new permanent exhibition on Swiss archaeology.
This includes, for example, a large projection onto a sloped wall, which visitors can control using a total of 14 different sensors. For this, various animated scenes on eight 4K video layers can be retrieved and rendered live in different combinations.
Furthermore, the archaeology exhibition features the so-called "Epoch Scanners," which are movable multi-touch displays. These can be moved horizontally and, depending on their position, display relevant information about the exhibits in the showcase behind them.
Overall, an elaborate media staging was created for the new permanent exhibition, utilizing many technologies, especially in the sensor field.
