The newly created "Climate Experience World" Oerlinghausen aims to address the pressing questions of adapting to the consequences of climate change. The project allows visitors to experience climate change firsthand and presents strategies for responding to it.
With its innovative concept, the Climate Experience World appeals to all senses: Digital projections illustrate climate history from the last ice age to the present. Heat, cold, drought, or floods are simulated – weather phenomena that will occur more frequently as climate change progresses. The rooms are equipped with multi-vision walls that provide fascinating images and tangible experiences. Interactive media portray the topic of climate change without being preachy. The focus is not on imparting knowledge, but rather visitors become part of the action themselves by playing through various scenarios and devising solutions through simulations.
inSynergie implemented both hardware and software here and connects all components through the NeuroomNet media control system.
