In the trainman village Neuenmarkt in the middle of Oberfranken lies the "Deutsche Dampflokomotivmuseum" (German Steam Locomotive Museum) that offers an exceptional railway experience. inSynergie installed the media technology including a RFID-system.
2013 the museum was completely redesigned. The exhibition of the multiple steam locomotives in the “Ringlokschuppen” was spatially opened and supplemented by working stations (pouring station, washing out booth, etc.). A modern and fresh presentation is created with interactive media and projections. Thus, the physical processes in a steam boiler or carriage are clearly explained and the visitor gets various insights into the inside of a steam locomotive.
inSynergie was responsible for the technical installation of several exhibits (projections, touch screens, sound systems) as well as the RFID technology including the planning and implementation of an individual software for controlling the RFID cards.
